ยื่นหมูยื่นแมว (yeun moo, yeun maew) literally “Put out your pig, put out your cat” is a Thai expression which means to swap. This project is the outcome of a residency hosted by the Faculty of Architecture at Silpakorn University with the support of the Ian Potter Cultural Trust. The bicycles were constructed as a mobile site for exchange. Over the course of a month we cycled around Nakhon Pathom, sketching in public spaces. At night we set up the bicycles at the market by Pra Prathom Chedi. There we invited the townspeople to have one of our sketches in exchange for a story or a drawing of their own.
